The Extremists On Your Doorstep Pt 1

When we started this campaign, we made a pledge not to focus on the religion of Islam, and to open ourselves up to accusations of racism and Islamophobia.

However, we feel it’s necessary, appropriate , and in the public interest to share some recent information sent to us by concerned members of the Muslim community.

The UK Definition Of Extremism

Extremism is the promotion or advancement of an ideology based on violence, hatred or intolerance, that aims to:

  1. negate or destroy the fundamental rights and freedoms of others; or

  2. undermine, overturn or replace the UK’s system of liberal parliamentary democracy and democratic rights; or

  3. intentionally create a permissive environment for others to achieve the results in (1) or (2).

introducing Haitham Al Hadadd

A “cleric and scholar” who for years has spoken out against Western and British values, and promotes misogyny, homophobia and the right of a husband to beat his wife.

Here’s a man, in our opinion that ticks all the boxes for extremism, here’s his view of homosexuality:

But this of course is also a view shared by Hamptons Head Imam, for both videos this is clearly opinion and belief that meets the criteria for point 1 of the definition of extremism.

Al Haddad’s view on non Muslims and UK democracy is also extremist by definition:

And here’s one final video where he extols the virtues of living in a Muslim ghetto and segregation.

We’ve never told people what to think, but look at the evidence, from Al Haddad’s own lips, in English. There’s no question of the meaning being lost in translation or being taken out of contevt.

There are far worse quotes and texts attributed to this preacher of hate, which we have not included, but they are simple enough to find on the internet.

What would be unforgivable, would be for the Hamptons Mosque to invite this extremist to speak at Hamptons, but that’s exactly what the Chelmsford Muslim Society did:

How on earth could this be considered appropriate at a venue, that hosts events and activities for the wider community, women and children ?

Perhaps members and non members alike, should reconsider where they spend their money, if it’s being used to promote and fund extremist views.

It’s a horrible thought that this is going on just 20 feet from a large residential estate, where our children play. The public have a right to be protected from this level of extremism.
