Inside The Hamptons Masjid

A video has recently been posted online, featuring the interior of the Hamptons Masjid (an arabic term for a mosque). It clearly shows all the “refurbishments” that have been carried out to convert the Members Bar and Dance Studio to a mosque. We believe the video was shot on 01/04/22, remember that date !

In the video you can see all of the work listed under “prayer room” in the CMS poster below, with the exception of the dividing doors.

Misleading council officers

So the video is very clear about the work carried out, and barring the Ghusl installation, it’s as advertised on the Ramadan fundraiser by CMS.

If any council officers are reading this, the compere is holding a microphone attached to a sound system, that your officers claimed wasn’t installed when they did their site visit.

What makes the video more remarkable is that earlier on the very same day (01/04/22), the Chairman of CMS was contacted by Planning Enforcement, and denied that the work had been carried out ! Here’s the officers entry from the Case Log

the unfounded literature

On 03/04/22 a post appeared on the Hamptons Facebook page claiming “There is some unfounded literature being posted by a right wing group that say they are trying to Save Hamptons”.

This refers to a leaflet we delivered to over 1,000 local residents that contained the Ramadan fundraiser on one side, and a planning history of the Hamptons saga on the other, we felt residents had a right to know about the planned changes.

So let’s look at the evidence:

Of course that doesn’t stop the chair of the council planning committee from showing her support to an organisation that attempts to mislead council officials, and in our opinion refuses to comply with the planning regulations that everyone else has to observe.
