SILENCED WITH A SAMOSA
Last week the Chelmsford Muslim Society held its annual PR fest, the Community Ifthar. We’d tell you the time and date, but that was kept secret, and the event was held behind closed doors. And as usual, no local non Muslim residents were invited. The event was laughably described as “an opportunity to break bread with our neighbours”.
influencing the authorities
It’s no wonder that our local councillors and police won’t support local residents, when they report problems caused by the Hamptons Mosque.
By the looks of things, the Lib Dems got stuck into the free buffet, and enjoyed an evening of virtue signalling, in return for being brainwashed by that nice Mr Syed, who no doubt told them at great length, what a great job the Chelmsford Muslim Society are doing during Ramadan.
Not to be outdone, Chelmsford Police posted a gushing report on the event. We’d challenge that they met with “members of the local community”. What they met was a carefully selected collection of worshippers and trustees from the Hamptons mosque.
This hardly fills us with confidence that the local plod are impartial, when real residents report issues caused by worshippers #protectingandservingCMS
The interfaith Group doesn’t represent local residents
We’ve seen previously how keen the local churches and faiths are to support CMS. But they seem to look the other way, when challenged about the impact of the Hamptons Mosque on the local area, and the loss of vital leisure activities for the non Muslim community.
Did you notice that a certain homophobic, pro Hamas, anti western Head Imam, is missing from the top table. Was he not welcome ?
But it was lovely to see the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Of Essex, Sidra Naeem, who often pops up to provide a female face representing the Muslim Community. You have to question why she’d choose to associate herself with CMS, who don’t have a single female committee member or trustee.
And finally, where was the mosques #1 fan ? Is our local MP still in hiding after being targeted by pro Palestinian supporters from the “local community”.
breaking down barriers in the community - not a chance.
